THIS GAME HAS BEEN INVENTORIED AND IS INCOMPLETE, missing one piece which is the plastic, drawstring hit bag. In all other respects, the game is complete with instructions for game play printed on the bottom of the box.
Game overview (from back of box): Major League Baseball Game [by Rodaco] is the officially licensed National and American League Baseball [board] game. This exciting game is based on a unique method of motivation, providing exciting home entertainment for all age groups. Two or more people can play Major League Baseball. The Players are divided into two teams. One player from each team rolls the die. The player with the higher roll is the Home Team and decides whether to play as the National or American League Team. The team tokens are placed on the rear squares of their respective dugouts. The American League in the red dugout, the National League in the blue dugout. The die is placed on the pitcher's mound and the distance markers are punched out and placed into the hit bag Each team is given 2 baseballs which are used by one player for both the defense and offense for each time at bat. When a batter obtains a HIT or is declared out, the two players pass the baseballs onto the next team players. The unique motivation of this board game is the psychology in out-psyching the opposing team.

Game condition: This game, while it is missing the plastic hit bag (which could be replaced with any opaque bag or even a scrabble tiles bag), is in EXCELLENT! overall condition, especially for a game from the early 1970s. The player tokens are unpunched, still affixed to their original board and the plastic distance markers, 96 of the 98, are also unpunched from their original sheet. The score pads are like new and unused. The game board which represents the playing field, is crafted from heavy board and is strong with a sturdy spine and NO! warps, rips or tears to the board fabric. Game board text is clear and legible and graphics are bright with LITTLE TO NO! fading apparent. Instructions, printed on the box bottom, are still legible and easy to read. Game box is in EXCELLENT! shape with MINIMAL! shelf wear (considering the age of the game) and NO! broken, torn or taped corners. Game box graphics are a bit faded - to be expected with a box from the early 1970s - but images are still clear and bright and all text is clear and legible.
All in all, in FABULOUS! condition for an early and RARE! game from the 1970s made by boutique Canadian gamehouse Rodaco.
